Rampage Race Products started at Queensland Raceway. Not in a corporate office, not with a marketing strategy — at a circuit, solving real problems for real race teams.
That origin still defines how we build products, who we build them for, and why teams at the highest levels of global motorsport trust us with one of the most critical systems in a race car: the driver's ability to stay hydrated, comfortable, and connected.
The Problem We Were Trying to Solve
Driver hydration in motorsport has always been an afterthought. Teams would bolt a bottle somewhere in the cockpit, run a tube to the helmet, and call it done. If the tube kinked, ran warm, or the bottle ran dry without the driver knowing, that was the driver's problem to manage.
The performance cost of that approach is documented. Dehydration at 2% of body weight degrades cognitive function. At 3%, muscle performance drops measurably. In a car that demands split-second decisions for hours at a time, running a mediocre drink system isn't just uncomfortable — it's a competitive disadvantage.
We built RamHydrate to be the system teams stop thinking about mid-race. Quick-change bottles. Insulated double-wall hose. Clean installation. One less thing to manage when everything else is demanding attention.
The V8 Supercars Credential
The turning point in Rampage's credibility was becoming the official control drink system supplier to V8 Supercars Australia. That's not a sponsorship or a partnership-of-convenience — it means every car on the grid in Australia's premier motorsport series runs our system.
When you're the control supplier to a championship, there's nowhere to hide. Every car, every team, every event. The product has to work. It does.
Going Global
From V8 Supercars, the product found its way into some of the most demanding environments in world motorsport:
- Sauber Motorsport F1 — the most scrutinised engineering environment on the planet.
- Erebus Motorsport — one of Australia's most competitive factory-backed teams.
- NASCAR — where endurance, heat, and relentless oval racing make hydration non-negotiable.
- WEC (World Endurance Championship) — 24-hour events where a failing drink system isn't inconvenient, it's a race-ender.
- GT Challenge — across multiple Porsche, Mercedes, and BMW campaigns.
None of those relationships started with a sales pitch. They started with teams seeing RamHydrate work in a car next to them on a grid, asking what it was, and making the switch.
Still At the Track
What hasn't changed is this: we're still at Queensland Raceway, still at circuits throughout the season, still talking to drivers and mechanics face-to-face about what's working and what isn't.
In June we were trackside at the Shannons SpeedSeries LIQUI-MOLY GT Festival, helping teams with drink systems, quick connections, and cool suit setups. That's not a PR exercise — it's how we learn, and how we keep building products that solve problems that actually exist.
What This Means for You
Whether you're a club-level racer building your first proper endurance setup, a team manager sourcing kit for a full-season GT campaign, or a distributor looking to represent the brand the V8 Supercars paddock relies on — the same product philosophy applies.
